These Bees are created entirely from recycled farm machinery. The metal we use for them is thick steel from weathered farm machinery. The colors are the original paints from the farm machines. The patterns are hand drawn on the metal with soapstone and cut with a hand held plasma cutter. The shapes are then arc welded together to form the bee shape. The wings are made with parts from a combine.

The metal is sealed with a water-based enamel. The bees can be placed inside or out. Each one will have subtle variations. They are cut by hand and each piece of metal has slight color differences.

The bees can be sit on a surface or they can easily be hung with a nail or a screw.
