This Bird Tree is created entirely from recycled farm machinery. The metal used for the Bird Tree is thick steel from weathered farm machinery. The colors are the original paints from the farm machines. The pattern is hand drawn on the metal with soapstone and cut with a hand held plasma cutter. The Bird Tree is then hand hammered and arc welded into shape.

The metal is sealed with a water-based enamel. This piece can be placed inside or out. Each Tree will have subtle variations. They are cut by hand and each piece of metal has slight color differences.
