Our Buffalo Head is handmade by Ben Gatski in rural Pennsylvania. It is created entirely from recycled farm machinery. The metal we use for the head is thick steel from weathered farm machinery. The head pattern is hand drawn on the metal with soapstone and cut with a hand held plasma cutter. The shapes are then arc welded together to form the head. The eyes are hand hammered and the head is mounted on a recycled corn planter disk.

The metal is sealed with a water-based enamel. This piece can be hung inside or out. Each head will have subtle variations. They are cut by hand and each piece of metal has slight color differences.

Size: 18″h x 21″w x 12″d

It can be hung with a nail or screw.

Care: Wipe clean with a damp cloth. If outdoors, you can maintain a shiny metal look [entirely optional] by applying a clear metal enamel, available in a spray can at your local hardware store.
